Top Android Emulators

There are many android emulators out there for you to choose. However these are my choices based on my own preferences. I shared it because I decided to let you know my opinion which may help you to decide or choose the best android emulator for your PC.

#1        Bluestacks

Size: 13.6mb

The Pros: It’s easy to download and install (doesn’t require a strong internet connection), doesn’t use a lot of ram, most android apps and games are available to be downloaded, games performances are okay (ran games such as Clash of Clans and it looks great), no other 3rd party virtualization required (Virtual Box  isn’t required).

The Cons: Home screen can’t be controlled (unable to be customized), installation of random apps or games is required at random times (my advice is to just download it and you can uninstall it later).

#2        Andyroid aka Andy

Size: 1.26mb

The Pros: Home Screen can be customized (able to add widget and shortcuts), pretty handy to use, offers special feature such as using your phone as remote control and games performances are okay (ran without lag).

The Cons: Requires Virtual Box (I don’t really like having one in my pc, thought it used a lot of space), installation consumes time and requires stable internet connection, start up took a lot of time.

#3        Droid 4x

Size: 8.32mb

The Pros: It’s easy to download (small size), easy to be installed, performances are pretty fast, doesn’t lag, also allows complete root access, provides in-built app for keyboard mapping.

The Cons: Always not responding during closing the apps uninstalled mine because cannot be used after the update (I can’t figure out why, lol).
